Shalom! Today our pre-schoolers learned about Rosh HaShana, the Jewish New Year. We sang songs, explored the shofar and its sounds, and made New Years Cards for our families using apple stamps. We practiced telling each other "Shana Tova" or "Happy New Year" in Hebrew, ate apples and honey, and learned what sound the Hebrew letter "Resh" makes. We worked together to make our classroom tzedakah box - please remember to send a couple of coins each week with your child to put in our box. They love to hear the coins jingle and they are fun to count! We had lots of time to play and get to know each other as well. Have a wonderful week and Shana Tova! Jennifer Blumberg

Shalom parents! This week we talked about the Holiday of Sukkot. We read the story "The Very Crowded Sukkah" and made even made our own crowded sukkah! We explored the lulav and etrog and spent time in the sukkah outside as well. We learned a new dance in music class and had lots of fun playing outside. Have a great week! Jennifer Blumberg

Shalom! Today in the 3 year old room we reviewed classroom rules and why we come to Sunday School. We walked around the building to explore different parts of Caspe Terrace and learn what each room is used for. We practiced using our manners and being "haverim" or friends with our classmates. We had snacks and music class and got to continue working on our Torah project with Morah Shulman. We had a great day!
